Peru can be
visited all year round. The peak time for the Andean areas is between
April to October, especially July and August. This is the drier
and cooler season, days are generally clear and sunny. November
to March is the rainy season, but this means that sites such as
Machu Picchu are less crowded. Some roads and walking trails may
become impassable. The jungle region is consistently hot, humid
and rainy, although it is supposedly less rainy between April and
October.
June, July,
August and September have the best weather for visiting sites, although
March, April, May and also October still have good weather that
allows you to comfortably go sight-seeing. |
